Therapy For Teens
Sometimes, you may simply need to feel heard and understood.
You aren’t alone. Teens have a lot to deal with these days.
Oftentimes, you are seeking help for a specific problem that might be causing hardship and pain.
Other times, you are just going through a rough time and could use a little more emotional support.
We keep the matters that you bring to our attention confidential when we can, but also seek permission to bring parents in when it is helpful or necessary.
The most common issues we see teens for include:
- Social Anxiety
- Anxiety and Worry
- Relationship Issues
- School Related Stress
While some people can “get over” symptoms more quickly, others may not be able to, unless they get the right kind of help.
Relationships with peers are everything at this age, therefore it is central to our therapeutic work with teens.
We help you navigate these relationships, peer pressure, cliques, online bullying and alcohol and drug use.
If you’re struggling, there is help available.
If you’re struggling with any of symptoms listed above, please contact our office.
We work with you to process these heavy emotions and learn the skills needed to cope and thrive.
